Alana's Beauty Bliss

Alana established her Salon in 2001. She had built up an impressive list of clientele, but wanted to expand. As she was moving into a new building, we thought updating her brand to have a consistent colour palette and visual identity would not only increase the perceived legitimacy of her brand - but also future proof her Salon to increase her clientele list over years to come.

Eliza Business Cards

Eliza is annoyingly way too good at everything. She got in touch asking for a business card that she could use over a range of services she provides: Music Teacher, Wedding Singer and Music Therapist.

We chatted about how different visual cues and language would speak more to different demographics. We landed on a design that put the emphasise her individuality as apposed to catering to a specific client by doing a generic design in a style that would be expected for that line of work.

Willow

I have enjoyed working with Willow for the past 2 years as they have gone from a startup project produced through Betterlabs (A Venture Fund owned by The RAC) to now a commercialised product.

When I first started with Willow, they had two weeks to put together a brand to that they needed to present to a team that would either give them the go ahead, or stop the project completely. We were able to put together a one page style guide (Seen on left of picture) that combined with work from the amazing Willow team, got the green light to go ahead and turn the Willow brand in to a fully funded project. Over the last 2 years, we have been refining the visual feel of Willow as they 'grow' a bigger following every week.

Sweet Sarahnade Cakes

Sweet Sarahnade Cakes was birthed out of an amazing entrepreneurial minded lady who wanted to turn her passion and skill for baking, in to something that would bless people in their most special moments.

To create the logo for this brand, we took two of her favourite cakes and combined them into a singular illustration that now serves as the icon for the brand.

Range Insurance

Range was also birthed out of Betterlabs (through the RAC).

Similar to Willow, we had a tight deadline to turn this project around as the business model of Betterlabs requires fast paced work from everyone working there, all the way through to their contracts (Designers like me). This was such a fun projects to work on and helped me improve in my knowledge of website building.

James Huntingford

This project was a personal brand for one of Perths most established pianists - James Huntingford.

This project required a lot of thought and communication between myself and the client as we wanted to create something that looked authentic to old school classical music, with the intention of pitching to a modern generation.

BudsRaw

BudsRaw is a great example of how an icon can add so much to a text based logo. Although the text within buds raw had quite a distinct look and feel to it, the icon placed the brand in it's very clear demographic and has served as a great flag for the brands overall recognition
